We supply birds from the superior Ross 308 genetics, an Aviagen breed, which, under the correct conditions, delivers world-class feed conversion ratios and contributes to the sustainable success of our customers.

Stringent biosecurity

We comply with the Code of Practice set out by the Southern African Poultry Association (SAPA) for the treatment of livestock. Strict hatching egg and hatchery hygiene protocols are implemented to ensure chicks are of superior quality from day one.

Bird health and welfare

The wellbeing of our biological assets—our chickens—and the safety of derived products for human consumption are paramount. This is achieved through the implementation of SAPA’s Code of Practice, which guides welfare standards. Our chickens are not kept in cages; all houses are bedded with clean, high-quality wood shavings to keep birds dry, warm, and comfortable while allowing natural behaviours such as scratching and wallowing. Bedding is regularly turned to prevent excessively wet or uncomfortable conditions. All chicken houses are purpose-built for optimal ventilation and temperature control.
